?We want to encourage more people to opt in to receive the e-newsletter, which
has become a key vehicle for communication with our residents,? Freeholder
Director Jack M. Ciattarelli said, adding that the electronic publication has
saved the county about $50,000 over the cost of printed newsletters.
The e-newsletter features reports on priority issues such as shared services,
open-space preservation, economic recovery and renewable energy, as well as
ongoing programs such as recycling and hazardous-waste drop-offs, H1N1 flu
information, and consumer and veterans issues. All subscribers? emails are kept
confidential.
